December 3rd, 2007

Parents… here is a new website to help your child learn the skills they need and to challenge them.

http://www.carlscorner.us/

December Dates

Dec. 3-13  Santa’s Workshop (Send money in an envelope with your child’s name, teacher’s name, and list who they are buying for.)

Tues., Dec. 18 Polar Express Day (Send your child in their pajama’s and have them bring their favorite stuffed toy.)

Thurs. Dec 20  Christmas Party at 1:00 (Room Parents will plan this party.)

Dec. 21-Jan. 1 Christmas Break  (Your child will return to school on Wed., Jan 2)

Read, Read, Read

Parents, please read to your child every day and ask them questions about what they have read.  Who?  What?  When?  Where?  Why?  How?

They should be able to recognize their letters by Christmas and the sounds by January.  We will begin reading in January!  If your child doesn’t know their letters … Practice, Practice, Practice.

 Thanks for your help!

Welcome to Mrs. Pena’s Kindergarten!

  • counting to 100 (by 1’s, 5’s and 10’s)
