At the May 1, 2008 specially called Board meeting, Ross Tarrant Architects presented a multi-page spreadsheet detailing the square footage requirements set forth from KDE.  Also on that document was the recommended/requested square footage determined over several weeks of meetings held by the planning committee.  That committee consisted of faculty and staff members from the current high school as well as building and district administrators.  A number of students, parents, community members and board members rounded out the remainder of the committee.
