Christmas Break

Have a fun, safe, and Merry Christmas.  Take a few minutes during this 2 weeks and reflect on 2008. We will have a Nutrition assessment on the first Friday that we return.  The study guide is on the Fourth Grade page.  I am hoping to be ready for the Math Size, Shape, and Symmetry assessment on Friday, January 16.  Also, the science fair project is due Wednesday, January 14 with the Science Fair being on Friday, January 16.  Hope we have snow for Christmas!!

Snow Day

Just a reminder, our Christmas party will be this Thursday at 1:30.  Be sure to bring your own drink, goodies to share, and be prepared to make an ornament.  Hopefully, we will have time this week to finish our Social Studies Movie Maker Project.  Science Fair Project due January 14.  Look at the guidelines on the Fourth Grade page.

Meet and Greet

It was great to meet all my students and parents that attended the Meet and Greet Open House on Monday night.  School begins Thursday, and I know that all of you will be just as excited as I am to walk thru the doors of Strode Station that morning to begin another school year.  Ms. Felts, our student teacher, will join us that morning and will be back to begin her student teaching later in the month.  See you Thursday!!

Thanksgiving Break

New Year

I finally remembered this afternoon to update my home page.  I will try to visit it at least once a week.  I would love to post every night (and may try), but circumstances of work, meetings, etc. hinder that apiration.  I will do the best I can.  I have my class schedule and lesson plans on our homeroom page.  I will try to post the lesson plans each week.  The Leaf Project for 4 H directions went home yesterday.  I know this is not due until the last of October, but don’t put it off until the last minute.  The good leaves will be gone.  Have a great three day weekend.  I know I will have one camping with my husband.
