Kentucky Representative, Congressman Ben Chandler, visited with 5th grade students at Shearer on Monday, Feb 6th. During his visit, he talked at length about his job, asked the students questions, and answered questions as well. His visit also included a reception of cookies and punch where he mingled with the students.

What is MAP?
Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests a student’s skill level in Reading, Math, and Language Usage.
With this guide, you and your child can use the charts to set goals in each subject area and track what progress has been made. If you have a concern about your student’s scores, please contact his/her teacher.
