Opportunities to Make a Difference For Businesses, Industries, Civic and Faith-Based Organizations and Individuals
The mission of the Partners in Education program is to enhance the quality of instructional services provided to students through the use of school volunteers and business partners and is fostered by the following goals:
Provide opportunities for community members to become directly involved with Clark County Public Schools.
- Strengthen school-community relations through direct volunteer participation.
- Enrich students’ curriculum, broadening their awareness and experiences.
- Provide individual educational assistance to students.
- Reinforce lessons taught in schools.
- Assist school personnel with instructional tasks and duties.
- Enhance all aspects of the educational process.
A few examples of how you can get involved:
- Mentor or tutor a student.
- Read to or be read to by a student.
- Serve as judge in an academic competition or fair.
- Sponsor or chaperone a field trip.
- Donate equipment, training and materials.
- Provide speakers.
- Co-sponsor a school-wide activity.
- Sponsor an honor event for students and parents.
- Provide a tour of your workplace.
