The Providence Talent Show will be held on Thursday, April 11.

Times were sent home by Mrs. Ledford – Morning Session 9:00 – 11:00 & Afternoon Session 12:30 – 2:00.

 Alana Brown, 5th grade student at Providence,  was a winner in the Clark County MLK Essay Contest!  Congratulations to Alana and to all the 5th graders that participated!

Remember Board Policy states (see policy below) that all book bags, back packs, duffel bags, and other containers of similar size should be “see through” materials such as mesh or clear plastic.  Beginning on Jan. 3, 2013 only these types of backpacks will be allowed.

Clark County’s Providence Elementary students awarded for high test scores

Providence Elementary School fourth and fifth grade students were recognized for their K-Prep test scores when they were in the third and fourth grades. Providence ranked 21st out of 733 elementary schools in Kentucky for their 2011 test scores.
