Justice Elementary parents may nominate themselves or other parents to serve on the Parent Teacher Organization or our Site-Base Decision Committee for the 2014-2015 school year. All parents are welcome to participate in the nominations and election. Nominations must be submitted by August 25th. The parent election will be held in the school office on August 28th from 7:00 am-5:00 pm.

The following information for procedures is to help with morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Make sure to access the important links at the bottom of this announcement. These procedures have been set in place with the safety of all students in mind and to help with traffic flow. We kindly ask that all those who are dropping off and picking up children, “Please remember to use the procedures and patience.” With two elementary schools running side-by-side, it will be necessary to follow the traffic flow map. It will take a few days for arrival and dismissal procedures to begin to run smoothly. Thanks for helping us with this matter. Remember…Procedures and Patience!
DRIVE-THRU DROP-OFF & PICK-UP – We will use the first entrance as you come from Main street. Traffic will both enter and exit from this one area.
INSIDE PICK-UP - Those wishing to come inside the building to pick up their child in the afternoons will do so in the cafeteria. A photo ID will be required.
EARLY CARE PROGRAM - For the Early Morning Care Program, parents MUST park and WALK their child inside. Please enter through the K/1 entrance closest to the parking lot only for this program. The door will be labeled, “Early Morning Care Program Entrance.” Entrance for this program is 7:00 am and students must be registered to participate.
Justice Elementary students and parents are invited to attend an Open House on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5:30PM to 7:00PM. Come and meet your teachers and see your classrooms. We look forward to seeing all of the new faces at Justice this year.

Your teachers and I are so happy to welcome you to Justice Elementary! We have been busily preparing the classrooms for your arrival on Tuesday, August 12.
This year, school will begin at 7:50 and end at 2:50. Students will be able to enter the building at 7:20 each morning. Breakfast will be offered daily from 7:20-7:40. (K students will eat at a slightly different time.)
Car riders will be dropped off in front of the school, and buses will unload in the back. If you will be coming to school in a car, please plan for increased traffic, as Conkwright will have the same hours as Justice.
Mrs. Miller, our FRC Coordinator has been awarded a Born Learning Grant! This will offer our families great opportunities for helping our child(ren) to be even more successful! More information to come on this!
Included with this letter, you should find a letter from your teacher and a list of supplies you will need for the year. We would love for you to attend Open House on Thursday, August 7 from 5:30-7 to meet your teacher! Your parents will also have a chance to drop off your supplies, pay on your lunch account, sign up for Kids Karnival, meet Mrs. Miller, our FRC Coordinator, and pay student instructional fees ($15.00)
Parents, very soon, we will be holding elections for two SBDM positions and our Executive Board for PTO (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary). I hope you will strongly consider running for any of these important roles in our school. Both would require your attendance at one monthly meeting throughout the year. We will have sign ups in the cafeteria if you are interested in serving.
